Stained Glass "What Would Yeezus Do?"
Highly creative and multi-disciplinary Designer with more than 10 years in product publishing and print design. Spent 3 years in Southern China developing accessories for portable electronics. Being so close to manufacturing facilities allowed me to get first-hand experience in materials and manufacturing technologies of both soft goods and plastic/silicone accessories. Combining this experience with my passion to art I designed a number of sculptures and art installations which I displayed on a different art fairs and festivals around the globe. The most significant of my works so far is a 75ft tall inflatable sculpture, named #Slonik which I presented on Burning Man 2019

Education
Future profession wasn't obvious to me, so I went to study:
09.1999 – 06.2002
Jurisprudence
This young gentleman does not yet know that he will never work as a lawyer, but at least he has learned to read contracts carefully despite his dyslexia.
09.2002 - 12.2005
Law
Having a law degree is not something I regret because my understanding of the law, particularly in the areas of copyright and various contract relationships, has been beneficial to me on numerous occasions both in my personal life and artistic pursuits.
02.2012 - 04.2012
Web Development and SEO
At that time, my friend and I came up with our own social network and went to study as developers to be able to build it. Now you know this network as Instagram! Kidding. Of course, our startup failed. But I learned something new.
04.2012 - 06.2012
Content Management Systems
At least now I am able to create this page myself.

Experience
There were times when I had to work at a real job.
08.2008-06.2009
08.2008-06.2009
Paint Shop Operator
Ford Motor Company, St. Petersburg, Russia
Yes, I know it has nothing to do with art but I was young at the time and my girlfriend and I had just moved to St. Petersburg from a small town, so I jumped at every opportunity. Working in a car factory seemed exciting to me, I was interested in understanding the processes behind the production of such a complex product as a car. Later, this experience was useful to me when I started working as an industrial designer, I better understood the logic and production pipeline.
06.2009 - 06.2012
06.2009 - 06.2012
Artist & Designer
Freelance, St. Petersburg, Russia
Throughout that time, I explored all feasible means of generating income, including creating t-shirt designs, tattoos, illustrations, website interface elements, and other endeavors, while also receiving private painting lessons from a renowned artist based in St. Petersburg.
06.2012 - 05.2013
06.2012 - 05.2013
Packaging Designer
Joy Toy Trading Company, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China
My initial job experience was the first time I earned a salary for something that I had always considered as fun; I spent my days drawing, designing toys, and creating scenarios for games. I honed my skills with graphic design tools as I developed new packaging designs daily, and this position also introduced me to mass production technologies, which I found incredibly fascinating.
05.2013 - 03.2014
05.2013 - 03.2014
Industrial Designer
Alion, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China
During this job, I was responsible for designing accessories for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. This involved creating layouts and drawings that adhered to established templates and design standards, collaborating with a team of designers to ensure that our products and packaging met all Olympic brand guidelines, and recommending techniques, methods, and media that would achieve the desired visual effects. Additionally, I worked closely with engineers to deliver high-quality final products and gained extensive knowledge about mass production of soft goods.

  • Creating technical/blueprint CAD packages and designing prints and patterns for application on soft goods and accessories.
  • Reviewing and revising all samples and managing projects from brief to fulfilment.

Creative Director | Co-Founder
MOOW, Yerevan, Armenia
In 2014, while I was working in China designing wearable electronics, including smartwatches and heart rate monitors, I came up with a concept where a person could mine cryptocurrency through physical activity. The mechanics were simple - the watch would track active heart rate metrics and reward tokens based on a set coefficient. Like most ideas, I just recorded it in my notes and put it aside for better times because I am not a programmer and there were no IT specialists in my environment.
In 2022, there was a boom in move-to-earn apps and I remembered my idea and decided to implement it. Firstly, because I was convinced that this was a working mechanism, and secondly, because I saw a lot of advantages in my model over existing projects that simply copied each other's common GPS data tracking mechanics. This meant that such projects would not be in great demand among people who engage in sports in fitness clubs, as well as among residents of cold or, conversely, too hot countries or countries where sharing GPS data is prohibited.
Fortunately, there are a huge number of IT specialists of different levels in Armenia now, we assembled a team and together created the MOOW app, which is currently in closed alpha testing and will be released in the second quarter of 2023.
In MOOW, I oversee the art direction, am responsible for the visual style and identity, and select artists for collaborations, as our app has a very strong art component in addition to sports and finance.
