#VAGR
A giant inflatable sculpture of a Tiger. Neon-pink color with faded stripes symbolizing the disappearance of these beautiful creatures from the face of the earth.
Mission
The massive inflatable pink tiger stands tall amidst the dusty playa of Burning Man. Its size and bright hue make it impossible to miss, drawing people in for a closer look. The tiger's majestic form is both impressive and whimsical, evoking a sense of childlike wonder.
Bright pink color of the installation serves as a reminder of the struggles that these animals face due to habitat loss, poaching, and climate change.
#Vagr functions as an eco-educational tool, offering burners a chance to learn more about the problems facing tigers and what they can do to help.
By doing so, they become more aware of the importance of conservation efforts and the role that each individual can play in protecting these magnificent animals.

Situation
In the last 100 years, tigers home range has declined by around 95%. And although the situation has improved over the past decade, it is still critical.
The tiger is the apex predator and in the wild it can only be threatened by one enemy - the most cruel predator on the planet - a human. The main problems of the extinction of tigers in the 20th century were, poaching and the reduction of natural habitat. Tigers breed successfully if they have enough territory, food and water. Therefore, by preserving the habitat of tigers, we preserve the resources necessary for our planet and, eventually, for us, people.
What can we do?
According to WWF Big Cats Program Manager Rebecca May
- "You need to share your passion for tigers with others and tell friends and family about the importance of it."
- When buying wood products and paper, find out if they were made as a result of illegal logging and discard them.
- The participation and support of people who live in tiger habitat countries are needed.
Every person who sees my work on Burning Man or in a media will be able to hear about the tragedy that these majestic animals faced through the fault of people and learn how each of us can participate in its recovery. Based on my experience at Burning Man 2019 with my work #Slonik I could say that people I met in the desert were sympathetic to the problem of elephant extinction and I still get messages with stories of people turning away the services of profiteering animals.

Inflatable Candies
#Vagr is a part of the Inflatable Candies project, a collection of minimalistic animal sculptures. The shape of the characters is so simplified that they have only a few details that allow you to guess the prototype. Each work draws attention to a specific social problem. The collection was presented at the PULSE Art Fair in Miami in 2019.

Michael Tsaturyan (Misha Libertee) is an artist and industrial designer. In 2018, he brought to Burning Man a virtual gallery Holoquarium with works of 3D artists from all over the world, and in 2019 - 23-meter #Slonik, designed to draw attention to the problem of endangered elephants in Africa and Asia. After success at Burning Man, #Slonik went on a tour over California - Burning Man Decompression in San Francisco and Venice Afterburn in Los Angeles. That same year Misha created a whole minimalistic collection of animal sculptures - Inflatable Candies, which was announced at the Artists Playground by Pullman in Dubai. And later, he presented the entire collection in Miami at the Pulse Art Fair.
